During your agreement

If you've chosen a full-maintenance agreement, then we will pay for routine manufacturer servicing.

For a customer-maintained agreement, it is your responsibility to pay for servicing costs.

For fully-maintained contracts, we will pay for tyre repairs or replacements. Please contact our Fleet Maintenance team on 0141 352 5300 for advice or guidance.

Alternatively, take your vehicle to your closest Kwik Fit repair centre, and they will contact us for approval.

If you've chosen a customer-maintained contract, you must pay for tyre repairs or replacements.

Please contact our 24-hour breakdown service on 0141 332 2622.

Our operators will take your details and help to get you back on the road, either through your new car breakdown warranty or through our extensive breakdown recovery network.

Please note that if you've chosen a customer-maintained agreement, additional costs may be incurred for vehicle recovery if the free manufacturer recovery warranty has ended.

Safety inspections may be issued when a manufacturer identifies some form of issue that needs attention. The majority of the time, these tend to be fairly minor, often simply requiring a software update.

As we're the owners of the lease car, any manufacturer safety inspection will be sent to us in the first instance. Upon receipt of this notice, we will notify you of the details of the inspection and provide you with instructions.

An MOT Test is only required when a car reaches 3 years old. A valid MOT pass certificate is required by law to allow a vehicle to be used on the road.

For fully-maintained agreements, we will pay for the MOT Test and any remedial work that's required to pass the test.

For customer-maintained agreements, it is your responsibility to pay for the MOT Test and for any repair work required to obtain a pass certificate.

In the event of a road traffic accident, you should contact your insurer for instructions.

If you want to take your vehicle to Southern Ireland or Continental Europe, you must contact us to obtain our permission. We will then provide you with a letter of authority and a Vehicle on Hire certificate (VE103).

The end of your agreement

As we approach the end of your lease agreement, we'll contact you and ask you to get your car ready to be returned. When your car is collected, we'll carry out a return inspection and provide you with a receipt for collection.

If you're getting a new car from us, we'll deliver your new car and collect your old car at the same time.

Yes. We'll contact you to make arrangements to collect your car free of charge at the end of your lease agreement.

Please note that additional costs will be incurred for collection from islands.

Of course. In the event that either you or a family member is interested in buying your car, please contact us a few weeks before the car is due to be returned and we'd be happy to provide you with a purchase price.

If you exceed your mileage allowance, then you will be responsible for payment of Excess Mileage Charges at the end of your agreement. These charges are specified in your lease agreement.

Additional costs will be incurred if your car is returned with either interior or exterior damage.

For more information on how we determine damage, please see our Fair Wear and Tyre Guide.

Yes, of course. You can terminate your lease agreement at any time. However, as you have committed to a lease agreement over an agreed number of months, you will be liable to pay early termination charges.

If you need to terminate your agreement early, please contact us and we'll let you know what your costs will be.
